Fatback Generator
The Fatback Generator creates random two bar drum grooves in 4/4 time. It combines over 29 cymbal patterns (hi-hat and ride) and 22 one-beat bass drum and snare drum patterns. The groove possibilities are nearly endless. Gary Chaffe's book, Time Functioning Patterns, is the inspiration behind this app. I highly recommend the book.
Getting Started: Choose a level.
Basic - Quarter notes on 2 and 4.
Advance - hybrid patterns on beats two and four.
= hi-hat with foot
= open hi-hat or accent on bell of ride
= accented hi-hat or ride cymbal
